Bear Creek Weddings Overview
Bear Creek Lodge is located on at the entrance to Mt. Spokane State Park. We offer beautiful indoor and outdoor venues, onsite catering, experienced staff, and overnight accommodations. We aim to provide our guests with a classic Northwest-style lodge wedding.

During the ceremony, the bride makes a staircase entrance onto the emerald green lawn of The Garden. The couple exchange their vows on the Wedding Stone, then join their guests in the lodge for an evening of dining and dancing.

Spring flowers include multi-colored crocus, tulips, and daffodils. Summer and fall offer a festive mix of daisies, marigolds, salvia, geranium, snapdragons, lobelia, and alyssum. The grounds are immaculate and professionally maintained by our staff.

Each season is special at Bear Creek Lodge. Afternoon weddings in The Garden are suggested for late April, May, early June, late September and October. Summer evenings may be comfortably cool, and occasionally require a light jacket. Fall weddings catch the changing colors. The reds and yellows of the deciduous trees peak between the last weekend of September and early October. The yellow and orange colors of the larches are best during mid to late October.

Winters are the busy season at the lodge. Golden fires dancing in the two stone fireplaces and a wintery wonderland outside make a beautiful backdrop to exchange vows. Guests often stay an extra day to enjoy alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snow tubing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling on Mt. Spokane. The entire lodge must be rented with accommodations for winter weddings held on Saturday night or New Year's Eve. Winter events are always held after 6:30 PM.

Platinum Package
We have tailored this new platinum destination wedding package to be reasonably priced for the greater Spokane area. It includes: two nights of accommodations for 30 -36 guests, rehearsal dinner for up to 30 guests, wedding day breakfast for up to 30 guests, reception catering for up to 100 guests and farewell breakfast for up to 30 guests. The ten hour facility rental for the wedding and reception, well trained staff and adequate parking are all benefits of booking this venue. Unlike many competitors, the cost of onsite catering for the first 100 guests is included, and may be expanded to handle much larger events.

A complimentary champagne or sparkling cider toast (for up to 100 guests ) is included for events booked by 11/15/17.

The Platinum Wedding Package Includes:

  • Facility rental for up to ten hours (includes your clean-up time at the end of the event)
  • Maximum capacity for the lodge and garden is 275 guests
  • Catering for the first 100 guests (see menu)
  • Beverage service for the first 100 guests (coffee, lemonade, and water)
  • Destination packages with rooms start at $7500 plus additional line items
  • Off season Platinum Packages start at $6000, plus additional line items
  • Off season dates include 9/22 – 12/10/17, 3/30 – 6/11/18, and 9/22 – 12/10/18
  • All lodge accommodations for 30 – 36 guests are included both nights
  • Rehearsal dinner for 30 is included
  • Wedding day breakfast and farewell breakfast for 30 guests are included
  • A $1000 nonrefundable deposit is required to book and hold the date
  • Gratuity & sales tax will be added to the event total

The following options and package upgrades are available:

  • Additional guests above 100 will be invoiced at $23 per person
  • Linens, napkins, and accents for the lodge will be invoiced at our discounted rate
  • "Hosted" and "No Host" (beer, wine & champagne only) service options are available
  • Officiant may be arranged for a customary surcharge
  • RV and campground space may be available seasonally
Gold Package
The gold package was introduced in 2017 and has been quite successful. In this option, the wedding party arrives the day before the event, have a ‘meet and greet’ (rehearsal), dinner, then has a casual evening and overnight stay. Guests awake to a wedding day breakfast, then get dressed for a 2 – 3 PM ceremony with reception afterwards. Everyone then departs between 8 – 9 PM. The ten hour facility rental for the wedding and reception, well trained staff and adequate parking are all benefits of booking this venue. Unlike many competitors, the cost of onsite catering for the first 100 guests is included, and may be expanded to handle much larger events.

A complimentary bottle of champagne and four snowtubing tickets (for a winter 2018 date) will be included if booked by 11/15/17.

The Gold Wedding Package Includes:

  • Facility rental for up to ten hours (includes your clean-up time at the end of the event)
  • Maximum capacity for the lodge and garden is 275 guests
  • Catering for the first 100 guests (see menu)
  • Non-alcoholic beverage service for the first 100 guests (coffee, lemonade, and water)
  • Gold packages start at $5750 plus the cost of additional line items
  • Off season pricing does not apply to this value-packed package.
  • Package is highly recommended for 9/22 – 12/17, 3/30 – 6/11/18, and 9/22 – 12/10/18
  • All lodge accommodations for 30 – 36 guests are available only on the night of the rehearsal
  • A $1000 nonrefundable deposit is required to book and hold the date.
  • Gratuity & sales tax will be added to the event total.

The bronze package is our only day-of-use option at this time. If you require a smaller event – i.e., less than 50 guests – please call the lodge for a personal consultation (509-238-9114). Afterwards, we will design an event to fit your needs and budget.

The Bronze Wedding Package Includes:

Additional Information

Catering: Purchased through the lodge
Alcohol: Beer, wine, and champagne must be purchased through the lodge. This applies to all persons staying in the campground who are affiliated with the wedding party. Any guest found "bringing their own" without prior approval from management will be asked to immediately leave the premises. The lodge is not permitted for hard alcohol.
Rehearsal Dinner: Available through the lodge, served sit down or buffet style.
Music: May be arranged privately or through the lodge.
Officiant: May be arranged privately or through the lodge.
